How the flat rate works

Ten items or fewer? You pay the flat rate of $150 + GST.

More than 10? Each additional item is $5 to $8 + GST. Where your job lands in that range depends on the quantity and the work environment, and we set it when we quote, not after the work is done.

Budgets are easier when the number is fixed before anything begins. There’s no hourly meter running, just the flat rate and a set per-item price. So the easiest way to get a figure is to tell us roughly how many items you have and what sort of workplace they’re in.

Where we test

At your premises. We come to Brisbane West offices, schools, day care centres, workshops, factories and construction sites, the six kinds of workplace we specialise in.

Testing where the equipment lives means it isn’t out of action while it’s away being checked.

When you ask for a quote, it helps to send a rough count of the items, the kind of workplace, which part of Brisbane West you’re in, and whether you want RCD testing as well. That’s everything we need to price it.

Credentials worth checking

Our licence number is 67096. Elite Test and Tag is fully qualified and insured, and CM3 certified, which is an independent contractor OH&S and compliance prequalification.

In plain terms, someone outside the business has checked our OH&S and compliance before you ever let us on site.

Every item is tested to Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760.

Next time round

Testing intervals range from 3 months to 5 years depending on the workplace and its environment. Ask us which applies to yours. We also carry out RCD testing.
