How often equipment is tested

Testing intervals range from 3 months to 5 years. Where your workplace sits in that range depends on the workplace itself and its environment.

Once you know your interval, planning gets easier. Ask us when your next round is due and we can book it in ahead of time.

The environment counts as much as the workplace type, because equipment in some settings takes more wear than in others. Ask for your interval when you get your quote, and you’ll know when we’re next due back.

Onsite, every time

We come to your Redland City premises, so nothing leaves the building.

For a workshop or a construction site, that means the tools stay close to the work. For an office or a school, it means nobody has to gather everything up first.

Our specialties are construction sites, factories, workshops, schools, offices and day care centres. We carry out RCD testing too, and it can be added to the same visit’s quote.

The cost

It’s a flat $150 + GST for the first 10 items tested, then $5 to $8 + GST for each item after that. Quantity and work environment set the per-item price, and it’s all quoted before any work starts.

That way a short visit and a long one are both priced before we arrive.

Behind the name

Elite Test and Tag is fully qualified, insured and licensed, licence number 67096. It’s also CM3 certified, an independent contractor OH&S and compliance prequalification.

That’s worth knowing if you manage contractors: it’s been checked by someone other than us.
