Test and tag, and RCD testing

Test and tag is the testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment, done at your premises on the northern Gold Coast. RCD testing is the other half of what we do.

If you need both, ask for both when you request a quote. Having one contractor handle the two keeps the paperwork and the visits simpler.

Who we work with

Our specialties are construction sites, factories, workshops, schools, offices and day care centres. Each one has its own environment, and testing intervals range from 3 months to 5 years depending on the workplace and that environment.

Because we come to you, the equipment is tested where it’s used and stays on hand for the people who need it.

The northern Gold Coast is part of our regular area, so getting us out there doesn’t need any special arrangement. A building site one week and an office the next get the same approach: tested onsite, to AS/NZS 3760, with each item tagged.

Price, up front

The flat rate is $150 + GST for the first 10 items tested. Additional items are $5 to $8 + GST each, depending on the quantity and your work environment.

That price is quoted before any work starts. To work it out, we just need a rough count of the items and an idea of the workplace they’re in.

Who’ll be testing

A fully qualified, insured and licensed operator, licence number 67096. Elite Test and Tag is CM3 certified, an independent contractor OH&S and compliance prequalification.

Because it’s independent, that prequalification is a check on us made by someone else.
