Factories and workshops

Factories and workshops are two of the workplaces we specialise in. We test the portable electrical equipment where it’s used, so nothing has to come off the floor and go anywhere.

On a factory floor or in a workshop, portable equipment tends to be in use all day. Testing it in place means it’s back at work as soon as it’s been tested and tagged.

Construction sites, schools, offices and day care centres in Logan City are on our list too.

The price

$150 + GST is the flat rate for the first 10 items tested. Each extra item is $5 to $8 + GST, depending on the quantity and the work environment.

A workshop with a handful of power tools and a factory full of equipment won’t land in the same place in that range, which is why we quote each job before any work starts.

Need RCD testing as well? We carry that out too, and it can go on the same quote.

How often

Testing intervals run anywhere from every 3 months to every 5 years. It comes down to the workplace and its environment, so tell us about yours and we’ll tell you where it sits.

The environment matters because equipment in some workplaces takes more knocks than in others.

Licensed and accountable

Fully qualified, insured and licensed, with licence number 67096. CM3 certified, an independent contractor OH&S and compliance prequalification. And part of the Elite group, with the Elite brand operating since 1984.

CM3 in particular is an independent prequalification, so it’s a check on us that someone else has done.
